A native of New York, Brian Bowen Smith ventured into photography by happenstance.After stints in acting, modelling and athletics, Brian was spotted while doing a Gap campaign, by legendary black and white photographer Herb Ritts, who took him under his wing as his protégé. Working as Ritts’ assistant, Brian developed his own personal style – his fine art photography is iconic - before venturing into his own commercial photography career, working with various respected publications such as Marie Claire, The Hollywood Reporter, Redbook and Billboard to name a few. His portraiture has featured the likes of Ben Affleck, Charlize Theron, Channing Tatum, Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Garner and on DM’s July 2016 cover, the delightful and incredibly photogenic Kristen Bell.
Victor Demarchelier, the youngest son of legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier, was born and raised in New York City. After graduating from Vassar College, where he studied economics and fine art, he worked with his acclaimed father, before venturing off on his own and making a name for himself. His work has been featured in Vogue, GQ, Harpers Bazaar and many other respected titles and he has captured the beautiful Naomi Watts, Kate Upton, Juliane Moore, Anna Kendrick and many more, including the flawlessly lovely Jennifer Connelly for the cover of the December 2015 issue of DM.
American photographer Mark Seliger, who has shot Leonardo DiCaprio, Katy Perry, Jason Statham, Steven Spielberg and countless others, started out with Rolling Stone Magazine, his amazing photo imagery moving him on to leading Condé Nast publications such as GQ and Vanity Fair. His work featured in the January 2014 issue of Destination Magazine, showcasing none other than Aaron Eckhart, in the November 2014 issue where he brilliantly captured, Oscar winner, Matthew McConaughey the handsome and talented Garrett Hedlund who graced DM's September 2015 cover and in the November 2015 issue, where he perfectly portrayed the legedary John Goodman.
Since 1994 when he moved to New York from London, Nigel Parry’s iconic photographic style has been sought by a variety of publications, advertising agencies and entertainment companies. He has shot striking portraits of Hollywood heavyweights like Sean Penn, Clint Eastwood, Angelina Jolie, Christian Bale, Dustin Hoffman and Bill Nighy among others, publishing them in three books: Blunt, Sharp and Precious. His work has also featured in leading magazines such as Vanity Fair, Men’s Health, Elle and in Destination Magazine’s June 2014 issue, in which he captured the illustrious Patrick Stewart.
Born to a now-retired Kodak executive and raised in Rochester, New York, Robert initially established himself in the music industry as a celebrated Art Director before exploring photography work. He is highly sought after, as he creates flawless multi-thematic celebrity images that radiate perfection and capture the essence of beauty in the subjects he works with. Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold merged their passion for photography in 2006 to form GNL studios, based in New York. Over the years, they’ve captured striking images of fashion models as well as top celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, P. Diddy, Viola Davis and Jessica Chastain. They shot the stunning images of Taraji P. Henson for DM’s October 2013 cover feature, Robin Wright for the September 2014 issue cover feature and Jennifer Love Hewitt in the December 2014 issue.
South Africa-born and currently a Brooklyn resident, Warwick worked as an apprentice for 5 years in London before he went solo, publishing his first editorial with Dutch Magazine in 1999. His impressive portfolio includes celebrity portraits for Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, Drew Barrymore, Cate Blanchett and Jennifer Lopez as well as various fashion and culture magazines and more recently, commercial clients like Puma, Nike and Diesel. In the July 2014 issue of DM, Saint captured the timeless beauty of Liv Tyler – a subdued contrast to his dramatic promotional photography.
LA photographer and cyclist Joe Pugliese, started dabbling in photography while still in high school, eventually moving into photojournalism, covering news and events and finally into the editorial world, where he found his niche specializing in portraiture. His vast portfolio includes Hollywood’s top talent in the entertainment, sports and political scenes including Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, George Clooney, Shakira, Justin Bieber, and Oprah among others. His work has been published in Wired, ESPN, The Hollywood Reporter, Entertainment Weekly and Money Magazine. Joe's work graces DM’s October 2014 issue where he captured the beautiful and very charming Michelle Monaghan.
Peter Yang is an award-winning photographer who is famed for his intimate portraits of some of the world’s biggest celebrities such as Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Wahlberg, Idris Elba, among others. Originally from Texas, Yang, who found his calling while shooting photos for his university’s student newspaper, now lives in Brooklyn, New York. His work has been featured in publications like The New York Times Magazine, Rolling Stone GQ and Esquire. He is also the man behind DM’s March 2015 cover, where he captured the essence of TV heartthrob, Norman Reedus.
Colombian born photographer Ruven Afandor is considered among the most prolific photographers in the world having worked for major publications including Vogue, Elle, Rolling Stone, and Vanity Fair among others. An acclaimed fashion and portrait photographer, Afandor released a book in 2009, Mil Besos, a catalogue of Flamenco dancers from Southern Spain. His amazing photo shoots create powerful imagery bordering on the fantastical and dreamy. He is credited for celebrity shoots including Zac Efron, Oprah Winfrey Robert Redford, Kerry Washington, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Hudson, George Clooney Antonio Banderas, Jennifer Aniston just to mention a few. In the July 2015 issue of DM, Afandor captures the enigmatic Forest Whitaker.
Jeff Vespa is a man of many talents. Not only is he the C.E.O and Founder of Verge, a digital magazine focusing on new and emerging talent, he is also the co-founder of WireImage, the official photographer at major film festivals, a film producer and director, and he recently released his debut monograph, Art of Discovery.
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Vespa’s client list includes leading stars such as Shailene Woodley, Ben Affleck, Robert Redford and Adrien Brody. His work has featured in Vanity Fair, New York Times, Vogue and People Magazine among others. Vespa captured the iconic statue of Sir Ben Kingsley in DM’s December 2014 issue.
For the past 27 years, Andrew Eccles' work has graced the covers of numerous magazines, including Time, Rolling Stone and GQ. An Icon himself in the photography industry, his portrait of Robin Williams, which he shot for New York Times Magazine in 2000, has been housed in a time capsule behind the Museum of Natural History in New York City, and is not to be reopened until the year 3000. Eccles captured the ever-endearing Terrence Howard for Destination Magazine’s March 2014 cover.
Born and raised in Denmark but now a resident of New York, Marc Hom’s career began after being commissioned to do a photo book for the Vienna Ballet, following a one-year stint doing freelance work. He is now considered one of the best photographers in the industry for his classic yet playful style. As a leader in the fashion-photography business in Europe, Marc Hom has produced stunning images for high-profile magazines such as Harpers’ Bazaar, British Vogue, German Vogue and Esquire. He has worked with notable personalities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, David Beckham, Nicole Kidman and Cher. He captured the brilliant Matthew McConaughey, featured on the cover of the November 2014 issue of DM.
British born photographer Alexi Lubomirski has become a firm favourite with celebrities and has shot such as Charlize Theron, Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lopez and Julia Roberts to name but a few. Lubomirski debuted his art with Face Magazine and later worked for the famed Harpers Bazaar. He has never looked back and his passion for photography has seen him working for leading publications like GQ and Vogue. Lubomirski work featured in DM in the November 2013 issue showcasing the amazingly versatile actor, Jeffrey Wright.
Mike Rosenthal is a celebrity, fashion and advertising photographer who has worked with Hollywood heavyweights such as Halle Berry, Robin Williams, Charlize Theron, Robert De Niro and Christina Hendricks. Mike has also been a judge – and photographer – on America’s Next Top Model and Asia’s Next Top Model. And, for Destination Magazine’s February 2014 issue he shot super talented Michael Shannon.
Specialising in celebrity photography, Jeff Katz has worked with some of the worlds biggest stars such as Kevin Spacy, Anthony Hopkins, Prince, Denzel Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Mel Gibson, Idris Elba to name but a few. Based in Los Angeles, Katz delivers a unique perspective with all of his subjects, in the telling of their story, though the images. In the May 2015 issue of DM, he captures the fun, spirited and pure coolness of LL Cool J.
Jamaican born Mark Liddell is a freelance photographer who’s based in Glasgow, Scotland. Liddell has spent the past 15 years as an A-list photographer, having worked with Hollywood Icons such as Nicole Kidman, Kate Moss, Justine Timberlake and Jennifer Aniston. He has also done photo shoots for People and Vogue magazines and most recently started his own interior design firm. Liddell shot pop rock princess Avril Lavigne for Destination Magazine’s September 2013 issue.
With his infectious enthusiasm, remarkable talent and high professionalism, Guy Aroch has carved a niche for himself ever since he moved from Israel to New York to attend the prestigious School of Visual Arts in 1998. Impressing his pieces with a sense of timelessness, he has snapped signature photographs of Ashton Kutcher, Michael Pitt, Blake Lively, and Jennifer Lawrence among other A-listers. Son of award winning sports photographer Walter Iooss, Bjorn was born and raised in New York where he graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design and where he currently resides. He has worked with such notables as Kate Moss, Mark Rufallo, Michael Shannon and Emma Watson and his work has been featured in many leading titles like Vanity Fair, GQ and Vogue Japan. Bjorn captured Game of Thrones star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in the May 2014 issue of DM.
Jake Rosenberg’s name is synonymous with photographic excellence. Having started as an assistant to renowned photographer Chris Nicholls, he has gone on to co-found The Coveteur, a website for which he has shot well-nigh all photographs and videos. The Canadian photographer has worked with publications such as Bamboo, VIE and Plaid and shot notable names such as Miranda Kerr, Jaime King, Kelly Osbourne, Jessica Alba, Drake, Olivia Munn, Hugh Hefner and Jessie Tyler Ferguson. His work is showcased in the November 2013 issue of DM, where Joy Bryant is his beautiful subject.
Born in Melbourne, New York City based and internationally acclaimed, film director, fashion and celebrity photographer, Daniela Federici, left Australian film school for the U.S. to pursue professional photography. Paul Marciano, president and creative director of Guess Inc., gave Federici her first break when he commissioned her to work on the famous Guess Jeans campaign starring Anna Nicole Smith. An overnight success, Federici’s work has graced the pages of GQ,Vanity Fair, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Esquire just to name a few. She has captured high-profile celebrities such as Prince, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Sharon Stone, Antonio Banderas, Halle Berry and many others including the beautiful, talented and sexy Meagan Good who features in the September 2015 issue of DM.
With a background in film production and design, Andrew Stiles matches an eye for detail with his passion for beauty and simplicity. Apart from commercial cosmetic and advertising photography, California-based Stiles specialises in celebrity portraiture, and has shot up-and-comers like Kristen Connolly, Jane Levy, Katheryn Winnick, Hannah Simone and Mindy Kaling, but also seasoned stars such as Matt Le Blanc and Sean Patrick Flanery. His work has appeared in a variety of publications – Teen Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Improper Bostonian and Cosmo Girl, to name a few – and most recently in Destination Magazine’s September 2014 issue, for which he photographed the charismatic and talented actor Noah Wyle.
Starting with a camera at the age of 8, British native Sarah Dunn has amassed an impressive list of accolades to her name. Renowned for her great eye and intuitive approach in catching the unforeseen quality in some of the world’s biggest stars, such as Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks and Cate Blanchett, Dunn’s work has been featured in Harpers and Queen, Esquire, Empire and in the April 2015 issue of DM where she caught the quiet intensity of Jeremy Renner.
Specialising in sultry black-and-white photography, Elias Tahan has shot numerous fashion editorials and celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Solange Knowles, Kristen Bell, Nicole Richie and Ashley Tisdale, even though he is only 27. Based in Los Angeles, the young photographer’s work has been featured in alternative fashion and culture publications such as Flaunt, Nylon, Dazed Digital, and Zoot. Tahan’s photography can be sampled in the July 2014 issue of Destination Magazine, in which he showcases the ebullient Malin Akerman – but not without his trademark monochrome edginess.
Stephen Busken is a Los Angeles and New York based photographer whose images have been featured in Vanity Fair, Brazilian Vogue, Italian Elle, People, Los Angeles Magazine, C Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, House Beautiful, and Town & Country just to name a few. He has photographed various celebrities such as Chad Micheal Murry, Kerry Washington, Julianne Moore, Margot Robbie and the beautiful Yael Stone who graces the pages of the June issue of DM.
Born and raised in London, Tesh started out his photographic journey as an assistant for Norman Watson photography. Ten years into the industry, his fresh perspective on creating images has made him one of the most sought after photographers for luxury and fashion brands around the world. Tesh has shot celebrities such as Mila Kunis, Kristin Stewart, Julianne Moore among others. His work has featured in British Vogue, Flair magazine, Harpers Bazaar (American), French Elle, German Vogue and Marie Claire. Tesh captured the hauntingly beautiful Olivia Wilde in DM’s Feb 2015 issue.
The talented Corina Marie specialises in entertainment, beauty, and advertising photography and is based in Los Angeles. Her lucrative career began when she was a magazine photo editor and producer for Movieline's Hollywood Life and The Hollywood Reporter. Since then, she has worked with popular brands such as Bare Essentials Cosmetics, Ardell Lashes, JBrand Jeans, HBO and Ultra Records. An amazing array of work can also be found on her blog, where her beautiful and artsy spirit is brought out in personal projects, which she says deal largely with acceptance of self and understanding of others. In the November 2014 issue of DM, Corina captures the stunning Laurie Holden.
Julia Noni’s bold, vibrant style is easy to spot in various fashion publications around the world. She was recently in Nairobi where she photographed Kenya’s elite runners for the Nike Free Global Campaign. Her work has appeared in Vogue: Japan, China, Russia and Germany, for which she photographed international models like Ajak Deng, Wang Xiao and Jeneil Williams. Solange Knowles was a recent subject of Noni’s prowess for a playful shoot for Harper’s Bazaar but even though she is known for her provocative use of colour, Noni captured the electric but ever-sophisticated persona of Robin Wright in striking monochrome for the September 2014 cover of Destination Magazine.
Originally from NYC, now living in South Florida, photographer Peter Langone has photographed leading talent such as Matt Damon, Jeremy Renner, Gary Sinese, Marc Anthony, Donald Trump and many others. Langone shoots advertising, lifestyle, and fashion assignments and has worked with a diversity of leading brands. He has circled the world 12 times, working in studios and on location, for his diverse clientele. Langone’s work graces the pages of the December 2014 issue of DM, showcasing the amazing Dennis Haysbert.
Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, but now based in Los Angeles, photographer Benjo Arwas spent five years in the army before his desire to explore and experience the world won over. And it is from his travel adventures that Arwas picked up the camera to document his journey, and he has never looked back. A graduate of Brooks Institute of Photography, his work, inspired by fashion and the beauty of human beings, has been featured in Nylon Magazine, Fault, Women¹s Health, Fashionisto to name but a few and his portraits have told the provocative narratives of Jermaine Jackson, Joe Morton, Ciara Bravo, Diane Guerrero and, in the October 2015 issue of DM, the gifted and lovable Robin Lord Taylor.
One of the founding members of Gremly Media, France Duque also dabbles in modelling when she’s not shooting and filming for the photography, videography and graphic design boutique agency. Duque was born in Brussels but she is now based in Los Angeles, which puts her in close range with Hollywood’s most talented stars – Brad Pitt, Chris Evans, Kristin Chenoweth, Lisa Rinna and Jaime King among others – and various studios. Her work has appeared in publications like Esquire, OK!, Women’s Health and, most recently, Destination Magazine. For our August 2014 issue, she captured the bubbling energy of the talented actor and comedian Tom Arnold.
